Tegan Jennie Chick - AUSNosso hotel para três noites estava na Trancoso, perto do Porto Seguro. Na primeira dia nos formos para o praia da Nativos em Trancoso que foi muito legal. Lá estava mais ou menos baixo mas estava muito relaxada com cadeiras, cocos, tatuagem da henna, indians e muitos outras coisas. Para dia todo nos ficamos na praia, relaxando, nadando e caminhando. No final do dia, antes de jantar, nos fomos para aula da Axé-foi muito legal e muito engraçado. Eu não sei por que, mas quando estava mais escuro, todas as pessoas dançe com muito mais movimento do corpo! Jantar estava na um restaurante com comida muito boa-eu comer de mais! Depois de jantar, nos formos para mercado e voltamos para hotel e dormir.
No segundo dia na Trancoso, nos formos para Porto Seguro para um city tour e mais um dia na praia. Porto Seguro é onde as primeiros Portugueses cheguei no Brasil é lá tem o mais antigo igreja no Brasil! Lá também tinha muitas coisas de chocolate e coco...fui muito delicioso!!! Antes de praia, nos formos para mercado onde ficar índians-lá tinha um menino que tinha dois anos-ele estava muito bonito. Depois de mercado, nos ficamos na barraca chama Axé Moi que foi muito, muito legal. Lá tem uma coisa para dançar, shows ou outras coisas. Por causa da aniversario da Sarah, ela foi para o palco e tudo mundo cante Parabéns para ela. Depois, pessoas dançe para ela. Foi muito engraçado é muito legal! Eu tenho certeza que ela (e nos também) nunca esquecer! Nos voltamos para hotel e jantar na mesmo restaurante e mercados e na noite, foi para um bar de forro. Estava legal-não tinha muitos pessoas lá mas ainda estava legal para assesteu pessoas dançando forro certo. Trancoso e Porto Seguro foi muito legal.

Our hotel for three nights was situated in Trancoso, around an hour and a half out of the more popular city of Porto Seguro. Our first day was spent on the beach of Trancoso, Praia da Nativos (natives beach) which was very nice. This beach was fairly quiet but still had the typical Brazilian feel with people selling coconuts, hair braids, henna tattoos, drinks, ice-creams and souvenirs. We stayed on the beach for most of the day relaxing, going for walks and enjoying the beautiful view. We went back to the hotel to get ready for Axé dance class. Axé is a Brazilian style of dance which everyone enjoyed. For some reason, once it fgot dark everyone was more willing to do the hip-wiggling moves! The body control of the people who taught us was amazing! After hip shaking for a while, we walked down the road for dinner. Dinner was really good (another all-you-can-eat restaurant) and after that, we walked around the markets which had things typical of that region.
The next day we went to Porto Seguro for a city tour and a day on the beach. The city tour was really interesting-Porto Seguro is the place where the first Portuguese settlers landed and has the oldest church in Brazil! On the city tour we learnt how chocolate is made which came with free tasters…sooo good!!! There were also lots of things made out of coconut and different flavorings-very tasty! There were some markets there where a native Indian tribe lived which was cool. There weren’t many Indians there but there was a family with a two year old son in the Indian dress (hula style skirt with head dress with feathers) who was so gorgeous with the biggest brown eyes! From the market we went to Axé Moi, a barraca-a beach setup with tables, chairs, restaurants, vendors, everything you could need on the beach. It was amazing and so much fun. There was a stage there with dancers and because it was Sarah’s birthday, they called her up on the stage and everyone on the beach sang happy birthday and danced for her which provided entertainment for us all and was certainly a memorable birthday for her! There was also really good food there, a food typical of the north east region called acarajé made out of beans with prawns and salad. We went back to the hotel in the afternoon and went out to dinner and a bit more time at the markets. After that we went to a forro dance club thing which was good to watch the other people but didn’t have many people there. Either was it was impressive to watch the Brazilian people dancing proper forro. It was a fantastic day and Trancoso and Porto Seguro were amazing.
